Guided tours at the Cathedral Church of Saint John The Divine, the world's largest gothic cathedral and the Cathedral’s Textile Conservation Laboratory.

  THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 5 – Early morning departure from the National Gallery of Canada.

Please bring a “brown bag” lunch for the bus ride so we can reduce the number of stops and arrive in New York City as early as possible.

Check in at the Milburn Hotel located just off Broadway on the City's trendy Upper West Side, minutes to museums, fine dining, shopping and Times Square theatres.
(Kitchenettes in every room)

Dinner on your own and evening at leisure.
 



  

       
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 6 – After a continental breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the Cathedral Church of Saint John The Divine, the world's largest gothic cathedral, for a guided tour.

The cathedral, designed in 1888 and begun in 1892, has, in its history, undergone radical stylistic changes. Recent extensive restoration means we will experience the full magnificance of this breathtaking Gothic structure.

Guided tour at the Cathedral’s extraordinary Textile Conservation Laboratory, established to conserve the Cathedral's textiles, including the Barberini tapestries to cartoons by Raphael.

The Laboratory also conserves tapestries, needlepoint, upholstery, costumes, and other textiles for its clients.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 7– Continental breakfast at the hotel.

Entire day at leisure to enjoy all New York City has to offer.

Our motorcoach will drop those interested at designated points on 5th Avenue in the morning. B

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 8 – Contintental breakfast at the hotel.

Morning at leisure.

Bus will depart for Ottawa
from the hotel at 1:30 p.m. B
