Angela Hewitt's Eighth ![]() in Magione, Umbria June 28 – July 7, 2012 |

“In 2011 we held the sixth edition of the Trasimeno Music Festival.
Those of you who have already visited us know the magic of Lake Trasimeno. Situated
in the heart of Umbria, just twenty minutes from the historic city of Perugia,
it is one of the most beautiful natural sights in Italy, and the country’s fourth
largest lake. The festival venue is the Castle of the Knights of Malta in Magione, with its stunning 15th-century courtyard. The festival brings together musicians and music-lovers from all over the world for a week. | |||
| For me the highlight is performing with artists
of my own choosing, making music in an intimate and inspiring setting. For the audience,
it is the opportunity to experience a different concert every night while at the same
time becoming familiar with the beauties of Umbria. The programme for the next festival, which will be held from June 30 to July 6, 2012, follows. You can look forward to another week of intense music-making! Trasimeno Music Festival 2012 promises to be the most exciting yet, with artists of the highest international calibre who are much sought-after around the world. I look forward to welcoming you!” (Angela Hewitt, Artistic Director) |
